Order your food direct

One marketplace for all

We are building a global directory of all eateries that sell direct to consumers for delivery, collection & drive-thru.

Buy Direct with Gravyy

Gravyy is changing the way online ordering works. We actively encourage consumers to buy direct from the eatery, and for those who don’t have the technology to do so, we provide it.

Zero commission

By eliminating commission, we enable restaurants & takeaways to achieve better margins and take back control of their businesses and future.

We are disrupting the staus-quo

In the UK the ‘Big Three’ restaurant aggregators – Deliveroo, Uber Eats & Just Eat – have created an oligopoly enabling them to charge up to 35% commission, syphoning money out of local restaurants & takeaways, local economies and the communities they serve.

Economic impact

Over £1 billion is syphoned each year from UK eateries by the Big 3 in the form of ‘commission’.

At Gravyy we are on a mission to keep that money in the eateries and local economies where it can be invested in…

Individual eatery impact

Eateries taking £3,000 per week via the Big 3 are paying approximately £54,600 per year in ‘commission’.

If this revenue were to be generated via Gravyy instead of the Big 3, it would empower the eateries to invest it in…

We hate commissions

The Big 3’s model means the harder eateries work, the more the Big 3 profit.

With Gravyy it’s the opposite. The harder we work, the more the eateries profit.

One marketplace for all

The volume of options for online ordering can be overwhelming and confusing.

All with different offerings, processes, prices and information, for the same eateries.

We aim to create one market place for all eateries, even if they sell direct via another website (charging zero commission) consumers will still be able to view them on Gravyy.

Community owned

Imagine a world where the eateries, cyclists, drivers and customers own an equity stake in the company they helped to build and grow.

That’s the world we are creating! Our customers, partners and team will have the opportunity to share our journey and success through our crowdfunding campaigns.

*Commissions quoted are based on the standard contract terms available at the time of writing (04/01/2021). Lower commission rates may be available due to alternative services & incentives but probably won’t be as it’s a rip off! Jobs quoted are based on 40 hours p/w at the current living wage of £9.50 p/h. New eatery locations are based on an average investment value of £150k per location. Eatery refurbishments are based on an average investment value of £30k.

Equity for all

At Gravyy we are building a direct competitor to the Big Three! With one major difference, Gravyy is a fairer model that will also be community-owned.

We have partnered with Crowdcube, the crowdfunding experts and our campaign launches in April. Pre-register below to get involved or be kept up to date.
